Something big is coming to Western Massachusetts—and it’s time to roll the dice, draw a card, gather your party, and take your Next Turn.
On November 6–8, 2026, we’re bringing the inaugural Next Turn Gaming Convention to 33 Hawley Street in Northampton, Massachusetts for a weekend devoted to games, creativity, community, and the people who make gaming so much fun.
Whether you’re a lifelong board gamer, a dedicated roleplayer, a curious newcomer, a game designer, an artist, a storyteller, or someone who just loves finding an excuse to get together around a table, there will be a place for you at Next Turn.

Bring your favorite games—or discover something completely new. Find a table, meet some fellow players, and play!
🎲 A Game Library
Not sure what to play? Our game library will give you plenty of possibilities to explore.
🎲 Scheduled Games & the Next Turn App
Looking for players for a particular game? Want to jump into someone else’s adventure? Next Turn will use Tabletop.Events to help convention-goers find games and invite others to join them. Build your schedule, discover what's happening, and find your next game.
🎲 A Games Auction
Have your eye on a new-to-you game? Our games auction will give you a chance to take home something fun—and maybe discover a new favorite along the way.
🎲 Roleplaying
Bring your character, your dice, and your imagination. We’ll have a large dedicated area for roleplaying, with plenty of opportunities to step into another world for a few hours.
🎲 Workshops & Game Creation
Ever wondered what it takes to make a game? Learn from experienced game creators and other experts through workshops and hands-on opportunities designed to help you turn your ideas into something people can actually play.
🎲 Speakers & Artist Presentations
Meet people who are creating, illustrating, designing, and talking about games. We’ll be bringing together artists, creators, and speakers to share their work, their experiences, and the stories behind the games we love.
🎲 Vendors
Discover games, art, accessories, and other treasures from vendors and creators who are part of the gaming community.
🎲 Come in Costume!
Planning to show up as your favorite character? We want to see it! And while you're dressed for the occasion, stop by our professional cosplay photobooth and get a great portrait of your costume.
And that's just the beginning.
Be Part of the First One
Because this is our inaugural convention, Next Turn isn't just something we're putting on for the gaming community—we're building it with the gaming community.
There will be opportunities to get involved as a volunteer, artist, game creator, workshop organizer, vendor, speaker, and more. Details about how to participate will be coming soon.
If you've ever thought, “I’d love to teach a game,” “I have a game I want people to try,” “I should sell my art at a convention,” or simply “I want to help make this happen,” keep an eye out. We’d love to have you along for the ride.
